Dry Creek Pastures
Ranching in the high desert of northern Utah — regenerative grazing, low-input livestock, and herds built to thrive in hard country.
Hey, there! I'm Millie Bradshaw, rancher, animal scientist, and host of the Goat Wise podcast. Dry Creek Pastures is 480 acres of rangeland, meadow, and sagebrush where we raise meat goats and cattle in a regenerative system built around one simple goal: leave this land better than we found it. This is where the ranch, the research, and the real stories all live.
What We Raise
We run Spanish, Boer, and crossbred meat goats selected for low-input performance in hard country, does that kid unassisted, raise their own kids, and hold body condition on forage alone. Our cattle herd is a work in progress and we're actively selecting toward the same standard: moderate frame, grass-based, built for this environment. Both herds graze in a regenerative system designed to build soil, improve forage, and work with the land instead of against it. We're not chasing maximum yield. We're building herds that thrive on what this land actually provides.
